Create tag
Create a tag pointing at a commit. Tag the commit an alignment produced, then
pass the tag as revision on decisions to keep production on that version
regardless of what happens to the branch. Repository write access is
required.

Send a Modaic bearer token in the Authorization header.
Parameters
Model repository ID.
Tag name, for example v1 or aligned-2026-09-24. Tags cannot be moved;
creating one that exists fails with 409 code_storage_conflict. Delete and
recreate a tag to point it elsewhere.
Commit to name. A branch name is also accepted and resolves to its current head.
Response
The commit the tag names.
After a successful alignment, GET /v1/alignments/{id} reports
resultCommitSha. Tagging it immediately makes the result recoverable even if
the branch is later updated by mistake.
