Agent Skills
Modaic's agent skills teach your coding agent how to use the SDKs, call the API, and work with models, examples, and jobs on Modaic Platform.
Install
With Node.js and npm installed, run this from your project directory:
npx skills add modaic-ai/mo-docs
Follow the prompts to choose your skills and coding agent. Project installation keeps the skills with your code; global installation makes them available across your projects. The skills CLI supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other coding agents.
Choose your skills
| Skill | Use it for |
|---|---|
modaic-python-sdk | Python integrations, sync and async clients, and typed responses. |
modaic-typescript-sdk | TypeScript and JavaScript integrations. |
modaic-api | Direct HTTP requests and Typesafe System One migration. |
modaic-platform | Models, annotations, alignment, and Batch Decisions. |
modaic-troubleshooting | Authentication, validation, missing outputs, and job failures. |
You can also install a specific skill:
npx skills add modaic-ai/mo-docs --skill modaic-python-sdk
Preview the available skills without installing anything:
npx skills add modaic-ai/mo-docs --list
Start building
Ask your agent to use the installed skill, for example:
Use the modaic-python-sdk skill to create a product-category model and run a decision.
Skills provide guidance, not credentials or SDK packages. Follow
SDK installation to install the client and configure
your MODAIC_API_KEY. Keep the key in your environment, not in skill files.
